I was born in New England and presently live in Virginia. I am married, I
have had six children, and I am a Grandmother. I am an artist and have always been an artist. My earliest memory of painting was in second grade when I was chosen to paint for a PTA (parent teacher association).
I did a watercolor presentation of an American-Indian village. Throughout grammar school I decorated the chalk boards for upcoming holidays with Santas, Holly, Turkeys, etc. As a child and teenager I spent endless hours drawing movie stars and I even mailed my painting of Gregory Peck to
Mr.Peck. He was kind enough to send a favorable acknowledgement of it.

For the past 30 years I have been a professional portrait artist sketching
people's faces in pastels and charcoals at malls, hotel lobbies, art shows,
festivals and studios in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and California.
I began my professional career at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. I opened my first studio at Seaport Village in the Long Beach Marina, California. In 1975 my family and I moved to Newport News, VA.

I render my portraits in oils, acrylics, pastels, and charcoals. My asking prices are very reasonable because I am able to develop a likeness very quickly, having had many years of experience. It is my pleasure to accept commissions for painting your portrait, pet, home, boat and favorite scenes.
